Well the longline bra only goes down to below the belly button. But the shape-wear can cover your entire stomach and thighs. It depends on how comfortable you are with your body and the dress. Because it you are hippy you may have lines from the longline bra (with a risk of reverse muffin top). The Shape-wear will give you a seamless look. So you don’t have to wear shape-wear to only hide the hips, it gets rid of underwear lines and smoothes you out. But since it will be hot, less will be more.
So the shape-wear would be best for the curves to make them look seamless.
But the long line will be cooler.
